WHIM is the newest groundbreaking piece of experiential, immersive and interactive theater coming to Chicago. It’s more than a destination, it’s an exploration of creativity and inspiration where the line between artist, performer, and audience is blurred. The inner workings of the creative brain are explored and translated into reality for your play and enjoyment. This 12,000 square foot piece of living art creates a world where all art forms come together - paintings, music, sculpture, street art, and live performance propel you through this fresh interactive experience.
Koda was commissioned to create a mural that challenges visitors to look back on their past, take stock of what’s happening around them, and focus on our most precious gift – time. Time to play, time to laugh, time to listen, time to question, and time to experience something brand new. The mural is intended to stop the clock and help guests reset, since only time will tell what you’ll find on a WHIM.
